Authentication service terms

These terms set out the conditions for using our online authentication service (the "Service"). Please read them before you submit a request.
1. The Service
Our expert authenticators examine the photos and information you send us and make the assessment themselves. Based on their decision, the system issues a certificate of authentication.
2. Certificates
- A certificate is issued only for items our authenticators judge to be authentic.
- If an item is judged not to be authentic, or cannot be assessed from the photos and information provided, no certificate is issued. In that case, our staff will contact you.
3. Photos
When a certificate is issued, one photo of the item is shown on the public certificate page. No other photos are made public.
4. Cancelling a Request
You can cancel your request at any time before a certificate is issued.
5. Nature of the Result
The result and any certificate represent our authenticators' judgement based on the photos and information you provided. They are not a guarantee of authenticity to any third party.
6. Personal Information
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
